Kilmé, or كلمة, means “word” in Arabic. It is a talk series curated by Tyme Khleifi and Michael Barenboim and dedicated to Palestinian artists, intellectuals, and academics, a platform for these phenomenal minds to present their work and speak freely and openly about subjects that are important to them.
We are dedicated to presenting Palestinian voices in all their diversity and creativity, thus contributing to the cultural landscape of Berlin, the city with the largest Palestinian population in Europe. We strongly believe that these voices deserve to be heard.
Our monthly series of talks is presented at Lettrétage, a venue in the heart of Berlin Mitte dedicated to innovative ways of presenting literature.
